Hunter views his practice and workplace as a part of the mission field. Before attending college, Hunter served nine weeks as an overseas missionary. After college, he strongly considered serving a full-time foreign missionary but decided to attend law school in Birmingham, where he attended The Church at Brookhills with Pastor David Platt.

Hunter constantly intermingles his faith into his practice. He considers it a blessing to serve as the legal counselor for victims of bad accidents. His favorite part of his practice is being able to help others while they are going through hard times due to an accident.
