Demar Hooper works exclusively with clients in the government-regulated community on environmental land use issues. His work includes securing environmental entitlements (permits) for agricultural, residential, commercial, industrial, mining, and school projects. He has obtained approvals for subdivision and parcel maps, use permits, variances, rezones, general plan amendments, infrastructure financing and development agreements.
Environmental tasks include California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) legal reviews, securing Clean Water Act Section 404 permits from the Corps of Engineers, and negotiating endangered species take permits under both California and federal law.
