I founded the Christian Lawyer Directory in 2010 to advance the two goals listed in the site’s About page:
(1) Give lawyers a platform to publicly align with the Lord Jesus Christ and (2) Give the public easy access to lawyers who share their Christian faith.
CLD has been a labor of love and a ministry to the Lord and His people. For most of the past thirteen years, however, that labor and ministry have imposed great time and financial costs borne by me alone.
Between tax years 2019-2022, I spent $110,319 on CLD’s website development, webmaster services, social media marketing, and online advertising. That financial model cannot continue.
I need your help.
The Christian Lawyer Directory has become a leader within our niche market, attracting approximately 10,000 site visitors per month to find over 450 member lawyers throughout the entire USA (including the two non-contiguous states).
But, I have reached the limit of my financial capacity to exclusively fund CLD. More importantly, I have come to realize the glass ceiling that my exclusive funding has imposed on CLD’s ability to fully advance its two goals.
This is where you can help.
We now charge new members $40/month to join the directory, via a recurring credit card charge for month-to-month membership with no term commitments. Starting on July 1st, we will start requiring our existing members to “opt in” to continue membership via the same monthly dues structure.
As a demonstration of my thanks, I plan to offer a loyalty discount to existing members who “opt in” during the grace period. Members who have not “opted in” by that time will have their listings unpublished from the site.
I say “opt in” because we have not captured your credit card information and have not contractually obligated you to remain on the site.
Should you decide to remain by “opting in”, know that your dues will greatly expand CLD’s advertising spend to attract more prospective clients to find you.
Those additional funds will also enable us to add new features to the site and to your profiles, like the ones we recently implemented – video embedding, social media links, and business hour listings.
In short, your dues will help the Christian Lawyer Directory break through the glass ceiling, adding value to your online presence and lead generation efforts.
