Attorney Paul Riffel is an experienced, award winning Tampa lawyer practicing in the areas of estate planning, Divorce and collaborative family law.
With more than 30 years of experience representing individuals and families in the Tampa Bay area, Paul Riffel, Attorney at Law, is well-equipped to handle nearly any legal issue regarding estate planning and family law. While much of his practice focuses on collaborative problem solving, he has represented clients in both jury and non-jury trials at the circuit and federal court levels. He frequently attends continuing legal education courses to stay abreast of new developments in the law.
Paul completed his undergraduate work at the University of South Florida, and received his law degree from the University of Stetson College of Law in 1982, graduating cum laude. While at Stetson College, he was associate editor of the Stetson Law Review. In addition to graduating with honors, Paul received the Freshman Moot Court Outstanding Participant Award and the American Jurisprudence Book Award in Damages.
In 2006, Paul received the Professionalism Award from the Family Law Inn of Tampa. This is a prestigious award given annually to one member of the Family Law Inn who exhibits professionalism and a high standard of ethics in his or her practice. He also finished his tenure as President of the Carrollwood Bar Association in 2006, and received the Brian Weakland Award for his service as President.
