A co-founder of Perenich Law Injury Attorneys, Gregory J. Perenich focuses his practice primarily on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He is located in Clearwater, not far from where he was born and raised, and he provides representation to clients in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties and throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Perenich has also assisted people who have become overwhelmed by their financial obligations and who are seeking a fresh start through the bankruptcy process.
The bulk of Mr. Perenich’s client base is made up of people who have been significantly harmed due to the negligence or recklessness of other persons or entities. The types of cases that he has worked on have arisen out of incidents involving medical malpractice, truck and other types of motor vehicle crashes, auto-pedestrian knockdowns, premises liability, defective products, and nursing home abuse. Throughout his career, Mr. Perenich has been able to obtain millions of dollars in compensation for his clients through jury awards and negotiated settlements. In one representative case, he negotiated a settlement in excess of $10 million for the parents of an infant who incurred brain damage due to a failure to timely diagnose and treat viral meningitis.
Mr. Perenich attended the University of Notre Dame, where he majored in philosophy and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1984. He then enrolled at the American University Washington College of Law in the District of Columbia, and in 1987, he graduated with his Juris Doctor. Prior to opening his firm, Mr. Perenich spent several years as a prosecutor with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. He is admitted to practice in Florida as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
